What a holiday! Firstly, the hotel itself:- STAFF- every single member of staff were so so friendly. Our cleaner was mainly Michelle who was an absolute star, and like everyone on the island, so so friendly.

The buffet was good with a large choice which was cooked well. Again the restaurant staff could not do enough for you.

We overlooked the Antilla hotel next door with a good view of the sea. A pleasure to wake up to. Our room was made up daily with ample clean towels, which were a good size.

Bathroom was large as was the shower cubicle. Yes it was a littke dated but nothing too dramatic. It done the job! Albeit the bed is very very firm, a bit too much tbh.

If you like a decent coffee in the morning then take your own jar of instant or get from the pool bar.

GYM- as regular gym-goers we used this on a number of occasions. If I would give any advice to the hotel it would be to invest in some upgraded machines.

These were old and clunky. Also, their was lack of air con and so it did feel like a sauna when you walked in. Towels were provided as were sanitiser spray to use afterwards, which unfortunately many guests did not comply with.

Same goes for evening entertainment. Big question- would we come back? Yes absolutely. Never have I experienced such a friendly and happy island!

I stayed at Riu Place in November. They had more restaurants and you had to make reservations which may have been due to covid but the food at all the restaurants was delicious!

The buffet was downsized due to covid, which was a downfall. I would say during normal running hotel the Palace has better restaurants.

Just make sure to get your name on the reservation as soon as they start! Guests can and will be removed from the property at their own expense in case of any disturbance or complaint from other guests or hotel staff.

Parties in rooms are not allowed. Spring break groups or unruly behavior is not allowed all year round at any property.
