They don't show them in their bras though. The girls mention it, what are teenage girls suppose to talk about, playing with Barbies? I think some people have forgotten what it's like to be a teenager.
More importantly, I wonder why so many insist on banning something that's not even comparable to the shows that were on when I was a teen , Melrose Place or the things on other networks, instead of sitting down and talking to your kids about things!
Watch this WITH your kids. Explain things you don't like. Remind them this is not real life. TV is not reality.
TEACH your kids instead of trying to hide them from the world! This review Helped me decide 2. Had useful details 8.
Read my mind Report this review. Adult Written by Al Jackson April 25, I love this show! This show is SO funny! Sure Jade is a terrible role model but she is REALLY funny!
Andre's crazy gradmother is funny too. In the episode "WiFi In The Sky" she was afraid of the numbers on her clock changing.
I couldn't stop laughing! Had useful details 2. Read my mind 7. Adult Written by Dadaboo May 11, Just plain bad messages for kids AND teens I just watched a full episode with my 9-year old daughter.
I have never been so appalled by a kids TV show before. I'm a 50 year-old male and consider myself a moderate Democrat, and work in the TV advertising industry in the Northeast.
I find iCarly entertaining and approve of it for my child. Victorious is in no way an iCarly clone. The victorious story line I viewed involved the "geeky" puppet kid going power crazy with a TMZ-type video blog, and ambushing his friends for content.
The gang retaliates by blackmailing him: stealing his clothes and video taping him in just a towel. Then threatening to post it on the internet if he dooesn't agree to stop.
That's a good lesson in how to resolve conflcit and bullying on the internet. Two wrongs make a right! What really blew my mind is the sub-plot of a girl in the group who's character literally behaves as if she has an IQ of 70, yet is sooo tremendously "talented" who develops a "hilarious" catalogue shopping addiction.
She ends up borrowing money and maxing out her credit card to the point that her parents take it away. Her solution? She approaches an obviously lower status student boy and asks A Does he have a girlfriend B Does he have a credit card.
When he says No and yes she tells him to call her. It was a blatantly prostitutional proposition. What is Nickelodeon thinking??? I had caught portions of the show recently, and wasn't very thrilled with what I saw.
Which is why I made a point to evaluate it, and glad I did. For my daughter this show presents negative life lessons and extreme dysfunctional relationships with no moral balance at all.
It is just not funny either. It will not be seen in my home anymore. This title contains: Too much consumerism.
Helped me decide 3. Read my mind 4. Adult Written by Mom July 26, Outfits too skimpy Disappointing role models for girls. Sure the music is catchy and fun, but the sexed up outfits of the girls on the show are just awful.
I watched half an episode with my 8 year old daughter before I turned it off. This title contains: Too much sex.
Too much consumerism. Helped me decide 1. Had useful details 1. Read my mind 5. Adult Written by janna67 October 19, Are all teens this rude?
The episode I saw had every character being rude to everyone else. Whether cutting them off while speaking, sending them all to stand in the rain, or just generally being rude, inconsiderate, greedy, selfish or sarcastic.
The "good" kids are even rude to their own friends!! And don't even get me started on the weak-willed, pushover parents!
How did this show get rated so family-friendly?!?! Is this really how you'd want to see YOUR kids behave? Had useful details.
Parent of a 4, 4, 7, and 9-year-old Written by Mama of 7 August 12, Show lacks any good role models, promotes whining and acting like a bimbo.
I've completely banned it from my house because I cant stand the whining. Adult Written by MrCrocodile April 29, For What It Is, It's Good.
The cast is awesome. They really are. There are a total of ten standard symbols on the reels. The lower value of these symbols are the playing card lows and these go from 9 through to the Ace.
Wins range here from 3 coins up to coins and the two lower value symbols the 9 and 10 also offer very small pays for 2 coins on a line. The four higher value symbols on the reels are all based on the Roman army with a group of centurions, a centurion ready for battle, a general and the Roman leader looking suspiciously like Julius Caesar all on the reels.
Wins with these symbols start at three across the reels and range from 20 coins up to the base game jackpot of 1, coins for five Julius Caesar symbols across the reels.
In truth, the base game only tends to pay out smaller to medium sized wins and it is through the main features of the slot that some of the bigger wins become much more apparent.
The Golden Eagle symbol is the Wild symbol in the game and it only appears on the second and fourth reel during both the base game and in free spins.
It can substitute for any symbol to help create a winning line and you can land multiple wilds on the reels. The show gives a mostly sanitized view of teen life, however, and characters are fairly stereotypical the mean girl, the hunk, and nice guy, the geek, etc.
A few teens including the main character, Tori stand out from the crowd for their self-confidence and determination, and Tori is a stickler for staying true to herself despite the influences around her.
A mean girl does her best to bully Tori out of school by embarrassing and harassing her. Teens are mostly left to their own devices, as parents are rarely seen, and adult figures at the school are limited to a handful of eccentric — and mostly ineffective — teachers.

Victorius ' glaring pitfall is its insistence on over-promoting its partner social networking website, TheSlap. A typical episode references the site at least five times — usually in the form of character updates like those on Facebook or Twitter — and winds up with a direct reminder to viewers to check out the site for show information or to post comments.
At the very least, though, it gives parents good reason to talk with their tweens about Internet safety and the downsides of multitasking.
Families can discuss communicating through technology like they do in Victorious. Tweens: What social networking avenues do you use?
How do they help you connect with friends? How has technology changed the way we relate to people? Are there any drawbacks to our technology-driven society?
Also, what do you think the companies that have a financial stake in this show have to gain by asking viewers to log on to their website?
Tweens: What dangers exist with Internet sites like Facebook and Twitter? How do you ensure your safety on the Internet?
What kinds of rules do you have in your house about using the Internet? How can the Internet be used as a tool against people? Have you ever known of an instance of cyberbullying?
Tweens: How do you face new challenges? Who are the people you lean on when you need support? How has conquering challenges changed you in the past?
